Drugs Lord Schimarr Smith Jailed Over County Drug Line

Schimarr Smith, 20, has been locked up for over five years after running a drug operation from Luton to Cambridgeshire. The Bedfordshire Police took unprecedented steps by slapping Smith with a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (STPO) following shocking revelations at court.

Exploited Vulnerable Boys to Push Class A Drugs

The court heard how Smith used two vulnerable boys as pawns, moving them around the region and forcing them into drug dens to serve his customers. Police flagged Smith after finding one boy in cambridge/" title="Cambridge" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Cambridge with Class A drugs and a mobile phone.

That discovery triggered a full-blown investigation, leading officers to Smith’s Luton address on Runham Close.

During the raid, police seized over £2,000 cash, packages of cocaine and heroin, mobile phones, knives, and a stab-proof vest. Phone data linked Smith to the boys’ movements, showing coordinated taxi trips between Luton and Cambridge.

Judge Slams Smith for Perpetuating the Exploitation Cycle

“Although Smith was a victim of modern slavery himself, he chose to exploit two boys ripe for exploitation and continue the cycle,” said His Honour Judge Johnson at sentencing on 28 March.

Smith, currently of no fixed abode, is now banned from having any unsupervised contact or communication with anyone under 18.

Dante Daley-Witter, 21, Smith’s associate from Runham Close, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply cocaine, heroin, and cannabis. He was sentenced to two years and four months behind bars.
