A Man Was Walking Along Broadway, Crawley  When He Was Approached By A Group Of Young Adults

Sussex Police has arrested four people in connection with a Crawley assault.

A man was walking along Broadway, Crawley, around 9.30pm on Sunday, 20 September when he was approached by a group of young adults.

The victim, a man in his 40s, suffered serious injuries after he was punched and kicked. He was taken to hospital for medical treatment.

The arrests made were:

  • An 18-year-old man from Crawley was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. He was released on police bail until 23 October.
  • An 18-year-old man from Crawley was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a cannabis. He was released on police bail until 22 October.
  • A 17-year-old boy from Crawley was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. He was released on police bail until 24 October.
  • A 19-year-old man from Crawley was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent. He was released on police bail until 22 October.
