Batley Man Sentenced to Nearly 20 Years for Sexual Assaults on Young Girl

A 50-year-old man from Batley has been sentenced to 18 years and eight months in prison after pleading guilty to two serious sexual assaults on a young girl. David Gray was jailed at Leeds Crown Court yesterday following his conviction for offences that took place over three years, from 2020 to 2023.

DC Green also expressed gratitude toward the victim and her family for their courage in the face of such trauma. I would personally like to thank the victim and her family for their courage and strength during the investigation and for coming forward and speaking of the crimes committed by Gray.
