A suspected shoplifter has been hit with 16 charges after a spree of thefts rocked Canterbury supermarkets.
Wine, Meat and Booze Snatched
The crime spree stretched from 19 October to 24 December 2025, hitting the Tesco Express on Herne Bay Road, Sturry. The haul? Wine, meat, and other goodies reportedly pinched from the store.
Police also tied a separate booze theft on 6 September at Sainsbury’s Local on the High Street to the same suspect.
Shoplifter Nabbed on Isle of Sheppey
After a thorough probe, officers swooped on 37-year-old Toni Ferry from St Mary’s Gardens, Upstreet. She was arrested on Tuesday 30 December and slapped with 16 counts of theft.
Ferry was granted conditional bail and is set to face Magistrates’ Court on 25 February 2026.
