Leeds Care Worker Caught Flashing in Lowestoft Twice

Sanjay Anilkumal, 27, a care worker from Leeds, has admitted flashing strangers on two occasions in Lowestoft. The shocking incidents took place on June 16 and July 21 last year.

Eight-Month Community Order for Indecent Exposure

At Norwich Magistrates’ Court, Anilkumal pled guilty to two counts of indecent exposure. He was slapped with an eight-month community order, including mandatory rehabilitation days aimed at curbing his behaviour.

Immigration Status Complicates Court Case

The court faced a tricky situation over Anilkumal’s immigration status. His leave to remain in the UK is set to expire on October 28. Despite the seriousness of his offences, he was not added to the sex offenders’ register. Instead, he must follow sexual offender notification rules because of his background in care work.

“He has no intention of returning to the care industry,” said his solicitor, Lisa Dade.
