Adejuwon Olufemi Alexander Jnr Oyekan, 30 of Melina Close, Hayes was arrested on Tuesday, 11 July on suspicion of murder. On Wednesday, 12 July he was charged with the offence.
Oyekan is remanded in custody to appear at Westminster Magistrates Court on Thursday, 13 July.
The charge relates to an incident on Tuesday, 11 July at a residential property in Melina Close, Hayes.
A 54-year-old man was found inside the property at 04:33hrs with a stab wound. Despite the efforts of the emergency services, he sadly died at the scene.
The suspect and the victim were known to one another.
