Dorset Man Disqualified For Drug-driving In Dartford

Lewis Back, aged 27, of Brisbane Road, Dorset, was sentenced on 7 February 2022 at West Kent Magistrates’ Court – Sevenoaks. He pleaded guilty to driving above the legal drug-drive limit, in Dartford, on 6 October 2021. When stopped he gave a reading of 4.5 microgrammes of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (cannabis) in one litre of blood. The legal limit is 2 microgrammes. He was disqualified from driving for a total of 3 years and fined £120. He was also ordered to pay a £34 surcharge and costs of £85.
