Three sexual predators have received lengthy prison sentences after repeatedly raping a 12-year-old girl who was lured into a car in dover/" https:>Dover. Kevin Horvath, Ivan Turtak, and Ernest Gunar were sentenced at england/canterbury/”>Canterbury Crown Court on Friday, 12 September 2025, following their convictions for multiple child sex offences, including rape.
Forensic evidence linked all three men to the crimes, and an indecent image of the victim was found on Turtak’s mobile phone, taken inside his flat.

Sentences and Reactions
Horvath, 26, of King Street, Dover, and Turtak, 38, of George Street, were each sentenced to 17 years in prison, while Gunar, 27, of Sidney Street, Folkestone, received a 19-year sentence. All three men, who are Slovakian nationals, will also serve an additional three years on licence under the terms of extended sentences.
Detective Chief Inspector Matthew Smith of Kent Police" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked" data-wpil-monitor-id="137904">Kent Police praised the victim for her bravery and commended the officers involved in the investigation. He stated, “Nobody should have to suffer sexual abuse like the victim in this case did… They will now be behind bars where they belong for a significant period of time.”
