Three Sexual Predators Jailed for Repeated Rape of 12-Year-Old Girl in Dover

Three men have been handed hefty prison sentences after they repeatedly raped a 12-year-old girl who was lured into a car in Dover. Kevin Horvath, Ivan Turtak, and Ernest Gunar were locked up at Canterbury Crown Court on Friday, 12 September 2025, following their convictions for multiple child sex offences, including rape.

Horrific Abuse Spanned Several Days

The chilling ordeal began on Sunday, 11 August 2024, when the trio approached the young victim in a supermarket car park. Over several days, they subjected her to unimaginable cruelty, taking her to various locations including Turtak’s flat in Dover and Gunar’s caravan in Folkestone.

During the trial, chilling details emerged: the girl was given drugs and alcohol to keep her subdued. She was threatened with death if she tried to run or report the abuse. Despite the terror, she bravely escaped from the caravan on 13 August while the men slept.

CCTV footage showed her entering a silver Skoda Fabia at the supermarket car park. The vehicle was traced back to Horvath. He, alongside Turtak, was arrested in the early hours of Thursday, 15 August. Gunar was caught three days later at Glasgow Airport, trying to flee the country.

Forensic evidence tied all three men to the crimes. Disturbingly, indecent images of the victim were discovered on Turtak’s phone, taken inside his flat.
