Intelligence Led The Team To Believe A Vehicle Was Involved In The Supply Of Distribution Of Class A Drugs
*Two people have been arrested in Melksham on suspicion of drugs offences following proactive patrols by the Team 4 Community Policing Team.*
Intelligence led the team to believe a vehicle was involved in the supply of distribution of Class A drugs.
When the vehicle was stopped and searched, the occupants were found to be in possession of a substantial amount of suspected Class A drugs.
The vehicle was also not insured and the driver did not have a valid driving licence, and the vehicle was seized.
The men, aged in their 20s and 30s, were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug.
An address in Melksham which was linked to the occupants of the vehicle was also searched by team 4 and the Melksham neighbourhood policing team, where further suspected class A drugs were found.
The men were bailed for the drugs offences while the investigation continues.
One of the men was charged with driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence and for using a motor vehicle on a road or public place without insurance. He is due to appear in court at a later date.
