Two Nabbed in Melksham Drugs Crackdown
Police swooped on Melksham following intelligence about a vehicle linked to Class A drug supply. The Team 4 Community Policing Unit stopped and searched the car, finding a large quantity of suspected Class A drugs inside.
Vehicle Seized – Driver Unlicensed and Uninsured
The driver, lacking both a valid licence and insurance, saw the vehicle seized on the spot. Both men inside, aged in their 20s and 30s, were arrested on suspicion of involvement in Class A drug supply.
Further Drugs Found in Linked Melksham Address
Police also searched an address connected to the suspects with help from the Melksham neighbourhood team. More suspected Class A drugs were uncovered during the raid.
Ongoing Investigation and Court Date Set
The two men have been bailed pending ongoing inquiries. One faces additional charges for driving without a licence and uninsured motoring, with a court appearance slated for a later date.
