Three Women Face Terror Fundraising Charges Over Syria
Olga Monpeke, 61, from north London, Vanessa Atim, 31, and Stella Oyella, 52, both from east London, are set to appear at the Old Bailey charged with terrorist fundraising.
Alleged Terror Crimes Tied to Syria
The women are accused of raising funds between March and October 2017 to support Islamist terrorism in Syria. The charges fall under section 17 of the Terrorism Act 2000.
Old Bailey Appearance Scheduled
They initially appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 9 November and will now face trial at the Old Bailey.
