William Stubbs, a 64-year-old resident of Portland Meadows, Retford, has been sentenced to four and a half years in prison for grooming and sexually assaulting a teenage girl. The offenses occurred between April 2017 and December 2019, during which Stubbs enticed the victim with alcohol and money.

In addition to the prison sentence, he has been issued with a restraining order and is required to sign the Sex Offenders’ Register for life.
