Man airlifted after Downham shooting

A man, thought to be in his 30s, suffered gunshot injuries at Chingley Close in Downham yesterday afternoon. Police and LAS were called shortly before 5pm. Local people reported hearing two shots. The man’s condition is not life threatening. No arrests have been made.
