Man charged with attempted Murder over Portsmouth Hammer Attack
A man has been charged with attempted Murder by Police in Portsmouth this evening. It follows an arrest made earlier in the week. James Hemming of Cross Street Portsmouth faces one charge of attempted murder. He is due to appear before Portsmouth Magistrates court in the Morning(Monday). The charge follows the attack at a property in Shearer Road in Portsmouth on the 11th April 2016. A 17 year girl was rushed to hospital facing life changing injuries after being attacked with a hammer. He has been remanded in custody was due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court today.
