Man charged over Eastleigh attack
Officers investigating the serious assault of a 23-year-old man that happened at 10.15pm on December 21, 2018 at a home in Eastleigh, have charged a man. The man, from Winchester, suffered serious head injuries and was taken to hospital in a life threatening condition. Officers subsequently arrested three people in connection with the assault, that happened in Heinz Burt Close. Brandon Engert, aged 18, from Heinz Burt Close, Eastleigh has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He will appear before Southampton Magistrates Court on May 28. No further action will be taken against the three other people who were arrested in connection with this investigation.
