Lee Potts, a 39-year-old man, faces charges of animal cruelty, public order offences, and having a dog dangerously out of control. The charges stem from a series of arson attacks that occurred in Wolverhampton on Friday morning.
Incident Details:
At approximately 3.30am authorities were alerted to a small fire at the Horse and Jockey pub on Church Street, Bilston. Shortly afterwards, several vehicles were either set ablaze or damaged by fire along Union Street, Bell Street, and Greencroft.
Officers located a suspect in a park off Millfield Road. The suspect was accompanied by a dog. During the incident, one of our police dogs, PD Snow, was attacked but fortunately not injured.

Lee Potts is scheduled to appear before city magistrates today.
