He is reported to have grabbed a large quantity of cash from the till before fleeing the store. On Sunday 10 November, Marcus Sherriff, aged 20, was arrested at his home address in Burch Road, Northfleet. He was later charged with robbery and with possessing a knife in a public place. He appeared the following day before Medway Magistrates’ Court where he was remanded into custody. He will next appear at Woolwich Crown Court on 9 December.
