A suspect is set to appear in court after being charged in connection with a series of knifepoint robberies that took place in Gillingham town centre on Monday, 25 November 2024.
Incidents in Three Locations
The alleged robberies occurred around midday at three businesses located on Canterbury Street, Green Street, and the High Street. Employees at each location were reportedly threatened by a man brandishing a knife.

Police state that cash was stolen from two of the three premises before the suspect fled the scene.
Arrest and Charges
A short time after the incidents, officers located and arrested a suspect at a local address. A knife was also recovered during the operation.
