A man has been charged in connection with the murder of Michael O’Donnell, who was found dead at a property in Southall last week.

Officers were called to a residential address on Samara Drive at 10:56hrs on Wednesday, 23 April 2025. Upon arrival, they discovered the body of 66-year-old Michael O’Donnell, who was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Following an investigation, police have charged 54-year-old Christopher Donnelly, of Samara Drive, Southall, with murder and fraud by false representation. He was charged on Sunday, 27 April, and is due to appear in custody at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today (Monday, 28 April).

A 28-year-old woman who was also arrested on suspicion of murder has been bailed pending further enquiries.

Michael O’Donnell’s family has been informed of the latest developments and is being supported by specialist officers as the investigation continues.
