Man Charged Over Murder of Michael O’Donnell in Southall
Deadly Discovery on Samara Drive
Police were called to a house on Samara Drive, Southall, at 10:56am on Wednesday, 23 April 2025. Inside, they found 66-year-old Michael O’Donnell fatally injured. Despite efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Suspect Arrested and Charged
After a swift investigation, 54-year-old Christopher Donnelly, also from Samara Drive, was arrested. On Sunday, 27 April, he was charged with murder and fraud by false representation. Donnelly is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today, Monday 28 April.
A 28-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of murder has been released on bail pending further inquiries.

Michael’s family has been informed and is receiving support from specialist officers. The Metropolitan Police confirmed:
