A tragic incident in pontefract/">Pontefract has resulted in the death of a man who was seriously injured. Luke Thompson, a 25-year-old resident of Pontefract, passed away in the hospital on Wednesday following an incident that occurred in the early hours of Sunday, November 19.
According to initial inquiries, it is believed that Thompson was punched by another male, causing him to fall to the ground on Front Street. Tragically, he was subsequently struck by a black Ford Fiesta and a white Seat Ibiza which were travelling away from Pontefract town centre.
