Man Dies after Assault at Holiday Park

A man who was injured following an assault at a Poole holiday park has sadly died from his injuries. Officers were called to Rockley Park Holiday Park in Napier Road at 1.04am on Sunday 8 May 2016 to reports of an assault. A 64-year-old man from Poole sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment to a serious head injury. The man – named by detectives as Kenneth David Dickie – sadly died in hospital on Saturday mentalhealthdrugs.com afternoon. His family have been informed and the coroner notified. A 34-year-old man from Poole has been charged with committing grievous bodily harm and is next due to appear at Bournemouth Crown Court on Thursday 9 June 2016. A 57-year-old woman from Poole was arrested on suspicion of committing grievous bodily harm with intent and perverting the course of justice and has been released on police bail until the middle of July 2016 pending further enquiries.
