Man Dies After Brutal Assault at Poole Holiday Park
A 64-year-old man has tragically died following a savage assault at a holiday park in Poole. The attack happened in the early hours at Rockley Park Holiday Park, leaving the victim with life-threatening injuries.
Assault at Rockley Park
Police were called to reports of a serious assault at 1.04am on Sunday, 8 May 2016. The victim, Kenneth David Dickie, was rushed to southampton/" title="Southampton" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Southampton General Hospital with a severe head injury. After fighting for his life, he sadly passed away on Saturday afternoon.
Suspects in Custody
- A 34-year-old man from Poole has been charged with grievous bodily harm. He is set to appear at Bournemouth Crown Court on Thursday, 9 June 2016.
- A 57-year-old woman from Poole was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and perverting the course of justice. She has been released on police bail until mid-July pending further enquiries.
Investigation Underway
Detectives have informed the victim’s family and have notified the coroner. Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this shocking attack.
