Tragedy in Greenwich: Woman Dies After Suspected Arson Attack

Detectives are hunting for witnesses after a suspected arson blaze claimed the life of a woman in Greenwich. Emergency services were called to a townhouse on Centurian Square, Berber Parade, at 1.23am on Thursday, 6 September following reports of a fire.

Woman Dead, Two Others Injured

Firefighters and paramedics rushed to the scene and successfully extinguished the fire. Inside, a woman in her late 40s was found dead. Her family have been informed.

Two other residents – a man in his 60s and a woman in her 50s – suffered injuries and were taken to hospital. Their conditions are thankfully not life-threatening.

Investigation Underway, Police Appeal for Info

Police are treating the fire as suspicious and are probing the full circumstances. Local CCTV will be reviewed while forensic teams scour the scene. The Homicide and Major Crime Command are now involved.
