Man has died after Lambeth Street fight

Detectives are investigating after a man died following an assault in Lambeth. Officers were called on Saturday, 29 June at around 5.55pm to reports of a fight on Coldharbour Lane, SW9. Police attended and found a 54-year-old man injured having been assaulted. The London Ambulance Service were called and he was taken to a south London hospital where he was pronounced dead at 22:10hrs. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported. A post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place in the coming days. Three men who were arrested on suspicion of murder and have since been released on bail pending further enquiries. The investigation into the circumstances leading to this tragic death are currently being led by detectives from CID at Central South Command Unit.
