Man Dies After Brutal Assault in Lambeth
Detectives are hunting for answers after a 54-year-old man died following a violent attack in Lambeth.
Fight Erupts on Coldharbour Lane
Police were called to Coldharbour Lane, SW9, around 5.55pm on Saturday, 29 June after reports of a fierce fight. Officers found the victim seriously injured and rushed him to a south London hospital.
Tragically, the man was declared dead at 10.10pm.
Three Men Released on Bail
Three suspects were arrested on suspicion of murder but have since been bailed as the investigation continues. CID detectives from the Central South Command Unit are leading the case.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
The Homicide and Major Crime Command are involved. Anyone with info is urged to call police on 101 or tweet @MetCC, quoting CAD reference 6291/29June.
Next of kin have been informed and are receiving support. A post-mortem will be carried out soon.
