Man in court charged with Croydon murder

Detectives investigating the fatal stabbing of John Kennett in Woodcroft Road, Thornton Heath on 23 December 2019 have charged a man.

Kenny Pitcher, 51 of Woodcroft Road, Thornton Heath, was arrested at the scene of the incident and was later released on bail pending further enquiries. On Wednesday, 8 April he was charged with the murder of John Kennett.
He appears in custody on Thursday, 9 April at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.
 A 33-year-old man arrested on Thursday, 16 January is currently released under investigation.
