A 21-year-old man has been locked up after a stabbing spree at Bognor Regis railway station, following a swift British Transport Police probe.
Jason McDonagh in Court Over Rail Platform Assault
Jason McDonagh, born 2 January 2004 and with no fixed address, faced Crawley Magistrates’ Court on 26 November. He’s charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and carrying a blade in public.
McDonagh was remanded in custody and will stay behind bars until his next hearing.
Stabbing Shakes Bognor Regis Station
- Incident happened just before 8.30am on Monday, 25 November
- Victim, a man in his 20s, found injured on the platform
- Emergency services rushed him to hospital
- Injuries later confirmed not life-changing; victim discharged same day
Police arrested McDonagh at the scene and charged him after questioning.
Police Still Hunting Witnesses
British Transport Police have kept quiet on what sparked the attack. Detectives are urgently asking anyone with info or mobile footage to come forward through official channels as investigations continue.
