Man to Appear in Court Over the Murder of Nash Clyne in Acton

 

A 50-year-old man is set to appear in court charged with the murder of 33-year-old Nash Clyne, originally from Grenada, following a violent incident in Acton.

Benjamin Matthews, of Acton, will appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 10 December, in custody. He was arrested on Monday, 9 December, and subsequently charged with murder.

Incident Overview

The police launched an investigation after being called to Birkbeck Road in Acton shortly after 4:00 a.m. on Sunday following reports of a fight and possible gunfire. Officers arrived alongside paramedics from the London Ambulance Service to find Nash Clyne with severe injuries.

Despite the efforts of emergency services, Clyne tragically died at the scene. Formal identification has not yet taken place, but authorities
