Men charged and Remanded over Tower Hamlets Murder

Two men have been charged following the murder of 23-year-old Alimuz Zaman at St Paul’s Way, E3, on Sunday, 26 May. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i7UfwKhHi5E Alimal Islam, 19 of Meyrick House, Burgess Street, E14, and Mofizur Rahman, 19 of Fitzroy House, Wallwood Street, E14, were both charged with murder on Thursday, 30 May. They were also each charged with one count of grievous bodily harm on a second victim, a 25-year-old man. The appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 30 May where they were both remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on a date to be confirmed. Both were arrested along, with two other men, on suspicion of murder on Monday, 27 May. The two other men who are both aged 23, have been bailed to return on a date in late June.
