Officers From Bedfordshire Police Are Appealing For Information After An Incident In Luton 

On Sunday 21 March a woman was assaulted. At around 9.30pm, a woman was walking along Sunridge Avenue, when she was approached by a man. The man spoke to her, and grabbed her arm, and hit her in the face as she broke free, causing a minor injury. The offender is described as around 5’10”, of stocky build and in his 30s. He was wearing dark clothing, and was driving a dark coloured saloon car. Detective Constable Michael Wallis, from Bedfordshire Police’s Crime Investigation Team, said: “We have been pursuing lines of enquiry, and are appealing to the public for help. “If you were in the area and saw anyone matching this description, or saw anything suspicious, please get in touch as this may help our investigation.” Anyone with information can visit the force’s online reporting centre or call police on 101 quoting reference 40/14295/21.
