Officers investigating a series of residential burglaries across the north of London and the Home Counties have arrested and charged a man. Dannie O’Leary, 25  of no fixed address was arrested on Monday, 30 March in Alperton. O’Leary had been the subject of a manhunt by officers from the Met’s North West Command Unit. The subsequent investigation resulted in multiple burglary charges being authorised by the Crown Prosecution Service. On Wednesday, 1 April he was charged with seven counts of residential burglary which occurred between April 2018 and October 2018 in Barnet; Enfield; Ilford and Hertsmere, Hertfordshire. He was remanded in custody to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 1 April where he was further remanded to appear at Harrow Crown Court on a date yet to be confirmed.
