North London Burglar Nabbed After Washing Away Months of Crime

A manhunt ended with the arrest of Dannie O’Leary, 25, a man with no fixed address, linked to a spate of north London and Home Counties burglaries. Police caught him on Monday, 30 March in Alperton.

Seven Break-Ins, One Man Charged

The Met’s North West Command Unit zeroed in on O’Leary after a lengthy investigation. The Crown Prosecution Service authorised multiple charges. On Wednesday, 1 April, O’Leary was charged with seven counts of residential burglary that hit Barnet, Enfield, Ilford, and Hertsmere, Hertfordshire between April and October 2018.

Behind Bars, Awaiting Court Showdown

O’Leary was remanded in custody and appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court the same day. He was further remanded to appear at Harrow Crown Court, with the date still under wraps.
