Orders Issued on Horsham Properties Following Reports of Anti-Social Behaviour

Three properties in Horsham have been placed under Partial Closure Orders after repeated reports of anti-social and nuisance behaviour.

The Horsham Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) successfully applied for the orders in relation to two addresses in Duke Square and one in Longfield Road. Brighton Magistrates’ Court approved the applications on 22 July under the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act.
The court found evidence that the occupants of the properties had been involved in, or were likely to engage in, disorderly, offensive, or criminal conduct. It ruled that the behaviour had already caused, or could cause, serious nuisance to the public, as well as disorder linked to the addresses.

The closure orders are in force for three months and are set to expire in October, unless extended by further application.
