The incident is reported to have taken place on Sunday 20 March between 8.40pm and 9pm The 13-year-old was about to go into the underpass on the B1365 Hemlington Lane when the suspect (a white male wearing a black puffa coat, black trousers and shoes and who had his hood up and face covered) approached her and grabbed her by the arm. He followed her to Earls Court Road where she sought safety in a shop. The teenager was physically unharmed but left extremely shaken. Officers immediately conducted an area search and began enquiries including CCTV but unfortunately were unable to locate the suspect. Anyone with information including dashcam or CCTV footage that could help is asked to contact Cleveland Police on the 101-number quoting ref 046514.
