Series of Violent Incidents Leave London Reeling
London has experienced a wave of violent incidents this week, with multiple shootings and stabbings leaving several people injured, including an eight-year-old girl. Between November 24 and November 28, police responded to serious crimes across the capital, including Bow, Muswell Hill, Leyton, and Ladbroke Grove.
Shooting in Bow
Early this morning, November 28, police launched an investigation after gunshots were reported near the junction of Violet Road and Yeo Street in Bow. Officers arrived at the scene at 2:55 a.m. and established multiple cordons.
No injuries have been reported, and no arrests have been made. The Metropolitan Police are continuing their inquiries.
Stabbing in Muswell Hill
On the evening of November 27, a woman in her 40s was stabbed in St James Lane, Muswell Hill. Police and London Ambulance Service crews responded to reports of an assault just after 8:00 p.m.
The victim was taken to hospital, where her injuries were assessed as non-life-threatening. A teenage boy was arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and remains in custody.
Shooting in Leyton
In Leyton, a man in his 20s was hospitalized after being shot on St George’s Road. Police and ambulance crews arrived at the scene at 6:10 p.m. on November 27 following reports of gunshots.
The victim’s injuries are not life-threatening. Two individuals have been arrested in connection with the shooting, and police are pursuing further investigations.
Double Shooting in Ladbroke Grove
A double shooting in Ladbroke Grove on November 24 left an eight-year-old girl and a 34-year-old man injured. A gunman reportedly opened fire into their car on Southern Row at around 5:30 p.m.
The man suffered potentially life-changing injuries, while the young girl’s condition is not considered life-threatening.
Two arrests have been made in connection with the incident:
- A 22-year-old man was arrested earlier on suspicion of attempted murder and bailed to February.
- A 32-year-old man was arrested on November 26 on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life. He remains in custody.

The Metropolitan Police are urging anyone with information about these incidents to come forward. A spokesperson emphasized the importance of community assistance in solving violent crimes:
