Police in Shoreditch are continuing their investigation after two people were injured by crossbow bolts, sparking concern in the community.
Detective Chief Superintendent James Conway, overseeing policing in Hackney and Tower Hamlets, expressed awareness of the community’s apprehension following the disturbing incidents. He highlighted the immediate and comprehensive police response, which includes extensive CCTV trawls, intelligence gathering, and forensic analysis. Neighbourhood teams have also been actively engaged in public appeals and reassurance patrols, with robust support from partners, notably the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.
