Crossbow Chaos in Shoreditch: Two Injured in Shocking Attacks
Police are hunting for answers after two people were struck by crossbow bolts in Shoreditch, sparking fear across the community.
Two Victims, Two Separate Attacks
The first assault happened just before 8pm on Monday, 4 March near Clifton House, E2. A 44-year-old woman was hit in the head while crossing the street.
Ten days later, just after 7:25pm on Thursday, 14 March, a 20-year-old man suffered a neck injury around 200 feet away near Arnold Circus, E2.
Thankfully, both victims escaped with non-life-threatening injuries and have been discharged from hospital.
Police Launch Full Investigation
Detective Chief Superintendent James Conway, responsible for policing Hackney and Tower Hamlets, confirmed the probe is ongoing. He promised a heightened police presence in the area to reassure residents.
“We are grateful for the community’s support and urge anyone with information to come forward quickly,” said Conway.
