Detectives have charged a teenage boy suspected of stealing a car during a robbery in Chatham. On Saturday 24 February 2024, a motorist who had parked his car in Batchelor Street was approached by a person he did not know as he returned to the vehicle.
[block_2]The car owner was then allegedly threatened with a knife and, fearing he would be harmed, handed over his vehicle keys. The victim’s car was then reportedly stolen and the police were alerted.
