Three Charged Over Burglary Spree Targeting Homes in West Kent

Police have charged three people in connection with a burglary series in west Kent that saw cars and jewellery stolen from homes across the region.
Between 9 October 2023 and 8 January 2024, 12 properties in Tonbridge, Sevenoaks and Tunbridge Wells were targeted.
Investigators say the burglars typically forced entry through rear patio doors and conducted untidy searches before fleeing.
- Car keys and vehicles were stolen in three of the break-ins
- Jewellery was taken in four incidents
Following an extensive investigation, Kent Police confirmed the following charges:
- Ricky Rixon, 39, of Spindle Mews, Orpington, London – Conspiracy to commit burglary and laundering criminal property
- Lorenzo King, 35, of Beckenham Road, Beckenham, London – Conspiracy to commit burglary and laundering criminal property
- Amy Pitcher, 31, of Spindle Mews, Orpington, London – Laundering criminal property
All three defendants have been bailed and are due to appear before Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on 12 September 2025.
Police say the investigation remains ongoing and further evidence is being reviewed to determine whether additional charges will follow.
