Tunbridge Wells Man Charged Over Public Exposure Allegations

A 65-year-old man from Tunbridge Wells has been charged with two counts of exposure following allegations he committed indecent acts in public near his home.

Robin Pilkington, of Mountfield Road, was arrested on the evening of Friday, 9 May 2025, after police received reports of a man exposing himself near Grove Hill Road, a short distance from the town centre.

According to Kent Police, the charges relate to the most recent incident and to a previously reported offence in the same area in June 2024.

Mr Pilkington appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 12 May, where he pleaded not guilty. He has been bailed ahead of a scheduled trial at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on 18 December 2025.

Police are continuing to investigate and have urged members of the public to come forward with any information.
