Teen Shot in Hampshire Shooting Spree – Two Arrested
A 17-year-old boy was rushed to Frimley Park Hospital after being shot in Blackwater, Hampshire, on Saturday afternoon. Armed police and paramedics stormed Hearsey Gardens just after 2.56pm following reports of a gunshot.
Armed Police Descend on Blackwater
Hampshire Police confirmed the teenager suffered serious gunshot injuries but is now in stable condition. Officers, including armed units, remain at the scene as they piece together what happened.
Shocked locals described hearing a loud bang just before 3pm. Police have urged residents to stay indoors while the investigation continues.
Two Arrested on Attempted Murder Charges
A 40-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman, both from Blackwater, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remain in custody.
Chief Inspector Matt Reeves said: “This was a very serious incident which has left a young man in hospital. Incidents like this are thankfully rare in Hampshire.”
He added: “You’ll see a strong police presence in Blackwater as we reassure the community and pursue our inquiries. If you have any information, please come forward or call 101.”
