Essex Police have charged two individuals in connection with a hit-and-run incident that occurred in the car park of Lakeside Shopping Centre on Friday, January 5, 2024. The incident took place close to Coco Asia at around 11:55 pm.
The victim, a man in his twenties, had reportedly been at Puttshack, Lakeside, earlier in the evening, enjoying the company of a friend. They left the venue and were walking across the car park when tragedy struck. The victim was struck by a Silver Vauxhall Corsa, and shockingly, the driver abandoned the scene, leaving the injured man behind.
