Two Men arrested after Ashford Pub stabbing

Detectives investigating assaults at a pub in Ashford have made two arrests. Officers from Kent Police" id="82232">Kent Police were called to the George Hotel in the High Street at 10.30pm on Friday 18 May where two men were found with injuries. One of the victims was taken to a London hospital with wounds consistent with a stabbing. His injuries are not thought to be serious. On Saturday 19 May a 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and a 25-year-old man was detained on suspicion of affray. Both men are from Ashford and have been released on bail until Friday 8 June. Enquiries are ongoing and officers continue to appeal for witnesses.
