Two Men Have Today Been Charged With Attempted Murder After A Man Was Shot In Preston

Police were called at around 11.10pm on Sunday, July 11th to reports that a man in his 30s had sustained a gunshot wound at an address on Bowlingfields in Preston.

The man suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment and is now recovering.

This morning (Wednesday, March 2nd) police arrested two men at addresses in Preston and following consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service they have this afternoon been charged with attempted murder.

Paul Matheson, 38, of Houldsworth Road, Preston and Daniel Quinn, 30, formerly of Holme Slack Lane, Preston are both due to appear before Preston Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Thursday, March 3rd)
