Officers from Kent Police’s County Lines and Gangs Team obtained text messages offering heroin and cocaine to drug users in Ashford between July and September 2021.

Investigations into the source of the messages led them to a property in Bromley, where a warrant was carried out on 13 October last year.

Clarke was found climbing out of a window and a search of the property uncovered around £11,000 worth of cocaine and heroin, numerous phones and sim cars and electronic scales.

The following day, a warrant was carried out at Cornes Close in Ashford, where Mansary was arrested and drugs, cash and a knife were seized.

PC Samantha Smith, of the County Lines and Gangs Team, said: ‘Class A drugs of the kind dealt by this county line ruin lives and lead to violence and further crime in our community.

Kent Police will keep working to identify those bringing drugs into the county, arresting them and putting them before the courts with a view to securing prison sentences like those handed down in this case.
