Paedophile “no longer employed” by Southern Co-op
Further to our recent breaking story, regarding convicted paedophile, Francis ‘Frankie’ Knight, employed at Portsmouth branches of the Southern Co-operative, we are pleased to confirm he is “no longer employed” by the firm. In a brief statement the Co-op said, “Further to our earlier statement, the employee in question at our Northern Parade store is no longer working for our business. “Our investigation has confirmed that we fulfilled all legal obligations as an employer. This is now a matter for the Police Offenders Management team.” It would appear someone wasn’t entirely truthful on their job application…
