Arrest Made in Connection with Edgware Stabbing Murder

Detectives have made an arrest in the murder investigation following the tragic stabbing of a woman in Edgware, which occurred earlier today. A 22-year-old man was apprehended this afternoon in the Colindale area and is currently being held at a north London police station on suspicion of murder.

The incident took place around 11:50am on Thursday, May 9th, near the junction of Limesdale Gardens on Burnt Oak" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-wpil-monitor-id="12790">Burnt Oak Broadway. Responding to the reports of a stabbing, officers from the London Police, along with the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance, arrived swiftly at the scene. Despite the extensive efforts of the emergency services, the woman believed to be in her 60s, succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the location.
