British Transport Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man in connection with a hate crime incident that occurred at leeds/">Leeds station earlier this month.

Authorities are appealing to the public for assistance after a 16-year-old girl was subjected to a barrage of racial abuse at a London station on Sunday, 11 August. The incident occurred at approximately 8:20 p.m.

In an effort to aid their investigation, British Transport Police has issued a CCTV image of a man they believe may be able to help their investigation of a hate incident" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-wpil-monitor-id="51503">police have released CCTV images of a man they believe may have crucial information. The authorities are urging anyone who recognizes the individual in the images to come forward.

Members of the public who can identify the man or have any information about the incident are asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40. When providing information, please quote reference number 687 of 11 August.

For those who wish to remain anonymous, information can also be reported to Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
